Ukrainian Armed Forces repel six enemy attacks in Donetsk and Luhansk regions

The threat of Russian missile attacks on the energy system and critical infrastructure facilities throughout Ukraine remains.

Over the past day, the units of the Defence Forces of Ukraine repelled the attacks of the occupiers near the settlements of Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Region and Bilohorivka, Bakhmutske, Pervomayske, Nevelske and Maryinka in Donetsk Region, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported on Facebook on the morning of the 280th day of the heroic resistance of Ukrainians to the Russian military invasion.

At the same time, the Russian occupiers launched 2 missile strikes on civilian objects in the settlement of Kivsharivka in Kharkiv Region and the city of Slovyansk in Donetsk Region, carried out 47 airstrikes and 35 MLRS attacks on the positions of our troops.

There is still a threat of missile strikes by the russian invaders on the objects of the energy system and critical infrastructure throughout the territory of Ukraine.

In the Volyn and Polissya areas, the situation has not changed significantly, and no signs of the formation of enemy offensive groups have been detected.

In the Siversk area, the enemy fired mortars and artillery systems at the vicinities of the settlements of Manukhivka, Vorozhba, Prohody, Mykhaylivske and Mayske of Sumy Region.

In the area of Slobozhansk, vicinities of the settlements of Vysoka Yaruga, Strilecha, Krasne, Hlyboke, Starytsa, Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Ambarne, Petro-Ivanivka and Dvorichne of Kharkiv Region were hit by the entire range of artillery.

The enemy is defending in the Kupyansk and Lyman areas. Fired from tanks and artillery of various types in the areas of settlements Pershotravneve, Orlyanske, Kislivka and Tabayivka in Kharkiv Region and Novoselivske, Stelmakhivka, Makiyivka, Ploshchanka, Nevske, Chervonopivka in Luhansk Region. Carried out airstrikes near Makiyivka.

In the Bakhmut and Avdiiv areas, the enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations. Objects in the areas of Spirne, Bilogorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, Nevelske, Maryinka and Novomykhaylivka settlements of Donetsk Region were hit by fire from tanks and artillery. Airstrikes were carried out in the Avdiyivka District.

The occupiers are conducting defensive operations in the Novopavlivka and Zaporizhzhya areas. Enemy tank and artillery shelling was recorded in the areas of the settlements of Velyka Novosilka, Bohoyavlenka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Zolota Nyva, Neskuchne and Novopil in Donetsk Region and Olhivske, Zahirne, Orihiv, Novoandriyivka and Mali Shcherbaky in Zaporizhzhya. The enemy also carried out airstrikes in the areas of Vuhledar, Olhivske and Stepove.

In the Kherson area, the vicinity of Kizomys settlement was hit by rocket artillery fire. The enemy does not stop artillery shelling of units of our troops and settlements on the right bank of the Dnipro River, in particular the city of Kherson.

During the past week, more than 720 wounded servicemen of units of the Russian occupation forces were delivered to the medical facilities of the temporarily occupied city of Donetsk.

Also, in the temporarily occupied city of Horlivka, one of the civilian hospitals has been repurposed into a military hospital, where civilian access is completely restricted. Only medical personnel are allowed to visit patients.

During the current 24 hours, Ukrainian aviation made 15 strikes on the areas of personnel, weapons and military equipment concentration and 2 strikes on the positions of the enemy's anti-aircraft missile systems.

Over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers shot down 3 UAVs of the Orlan-10 type. Units of missile troops and artillery of the Defence Forces hit the artillery system and one other important object of the occupiers.
