For nuclear safety and security to be restored, Russia must withdraw troops from the occupied Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant, Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said at a meeting with IAEA Director Rafael Grossi in Bucharest today.
"We discussed the situation at the Zaporizhzhya NPP, including security of the Ukrainian personnel. I reiterated that Russia must withdraw from ZNPP to restore nuclear safety and security," Kuleba tweeted.
Grossi, for his part, said that IAEA would "strengthen its presence in all Ukraine's nuclear power plants to protect its energy infrastructure".
