Russian troops have barred the members of staff at the Zaporizhzhya nuclear power plant who refused to sign contracts with Russia's Rosatom from accessing the premises, the Ukrainian Armed Forces' Generl Staff has said.

The ban is in place since 28 November.

Prior to this, the Ukrainian atomic energy company Energoatom called on everyone who has information about cases of treason, collaboration and signing of statements, agreements and contracts with the fake Zaporizhzhya NPP Operating Organization JSC or other Rosatom enterprise to report it to its call centre.

The Zaporizhzhya regional military administration also said that the occupiers were preventing the launch of power units to meet the needs of the plant and provide heating for Enerhodar.
