Over the 9 months of the large-scale war, the Air Force radio-technical troops have detected and tracked more than 240 thousand enemy air targets, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy said on Telegram.
According to him, about 80% of air targets are destroyed by our firepower. These are hundreds of thousands of lives saved, and infrastructure preserved. And this is an indicator of the Ukrainian warriors' high skill.
"I am proud of you, grateful for your service and congratulate you, the servicemen and the employees of the radio technical troops of Ukrainian Air Forces on your professional holiday! Eternal memory to those who brought us closer to the Victory, but, unfortunately, will not share it with us," the Commander-in-Chief noted.
Ukrainian air defenсe is getting stronger, but Ukraine needs more IRIS-T. These air defenсe systems will protect an area of about 100 km from enemy missiles.
