In case of interruptions in water supply, pump rooms will operate in the capital, most of which can be connected to generators, mayor Vitaliy Klitschko has said on Telegram.
"The capital has purchased generators, to which 105 pump rooms of the Kyivvodfond utility and six more pump rooms of the Kyivvodokanal on the left bank are promptly connected," he explained.
In addition, drinking water and water for other needs will be delivered to heating stations as needed. The city has worked out the transportation of water tanks with utility services
"Also, let me remind you that in the event of a complete lack of power supply, retail chains and shops that are powered by autonomous sources, that is, generators, will work. You will be able to buy drinking water from them," the mayor added.
