The next wave of mobilization in Ukraine will depend on the situation at the front, Deputy Defence Minister Hanna Malyar has said, Ukrinform reports.

She explained that apart from the need to replenish the units, the Armed Forces of Ukraine need to rehabilitate those soldiers who were injured, as well as to replace those who have been fighting since the beginning of the Russian aggression.

"There is a need to rehabilitate those servicemen who were wounded in the war. These things are difficult to predict, because mobilization depends on the needs of the war. In addition, there are losses and the need for recovery, even those people who are now fighting need to be replaced," noted Malyar.

According to her, after the New Year the authorities will talk about it publicly.

On 6 December, Interior Minister Denys Monastyrskyy said that there is no need to distribute summonses at checkpoints today.
