Ukraine has raised 1bn euros in assistance at the conference "Solidarity with the Ukrainian people" held in France. Part of this sum is equipment that will be transferred in the near future to restore Ukraine's energy infrastructure, Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal has said on Telegram.

"We also have a number of agreements for more than 530m euros for the development of the digital sector and the rapid restoration of infrastructure," he said.

Shmyhal added that a common vision of war risk insurance for business and the issue of France supplying air defence systems to Ukraine had been agreed upon.

"The key issue is nuclear safety. With IAEA Chairman Grossi and President Macron, we are gradually moving in this direction. We thank the President of France for organizing the conference and strongly supporting Ukraine in the struggle for freedom and democracy," the prime minister stressed.
