Today's massive missile attack by Russians caused colossal infrastructure damage to the city, Kharkiv Mayor Ihor Terekhov said on Telegram.
"Dear Kharkiv citizens! Today Russians shelled the city of Kharkiv again. There are huge infrastructure destructions, first of all, the energy system. Our utilities together with power engineers have already begun to eliminate what the enemy has done," the mayor said.
He asked the city residents to show patience with what is happening now.
"I know that your homes have no electricity, no heating, water supply is cut off. I ask you to use the invincibility centres. There, you can get hot drinks, and you will be able to charge your mobile phones," the mayor stressed.
He noted that everything was being done to restore what the Russian aggressor had damaged in the shortest possible time.
As a result of the enemy missile attack, Kharkiv is completely de-energized. All the city's invincibility centres, where you can warm up and charge your devices, are working.
Explosions were also heard in Kyiv and Kryvyy Rih and other cities. This is the second massive Russian missile attack since the beginning of the month.
