The national energy company Ukrenergo has cancelled the emergency situation in the united energy grid of Ukraine, which was introduced following the massive Russian missile attack on the morning of 16 December, the company has said on its website.
The emergency arrangements were introduced for energy market participants and concerned market operations only.
According to the updated data, Russian occupiers launched 70 cruise and four guided missiles, 60 cruise missiles were shot down by Ukraine's air defence. As a result, energy infrastructure facilities and residential buildings in Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk and Zaporizhzhya regions were hit.
