The 379th day of the Russian large-scale invasion continues. The enemy continues to focus its main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Kupyansk, Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk areas.
Over the past day, Ukrainian soldiers repelled more than 110 attacks in these areas, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said on Facebook.
The enemy continues to violate the rules and principles of International Humanitarian Law. Russian occupiers keep targeting civilian objects, residential districts and critical infrastructure across Ukraine.
Information about the night missile attack will be released later in the day. During the previous day, the enemy carried out 25 airstrikes, 2 missile strikes, and conducted 32 MLRS attacks.
Volyn, Polissya, Siversk and Slobozhansk areas: no significant changes, no signs of the formation of offensive groupings identified. However, the enemy shelled the vicinities of Senkivka (Chernihiv Region); Kharkivka and Atynske (Sumy Region); Strilecha, Ternova, Vilcha, Kamyanka, Dvorichna, and Holubivka (Kharkiv Region).
Kupyansk and Lyman areas: the enemy attempted unsuccessful offensives near Hryanikyvka, Spirne, and Bilohorivka. Russian artillery bombarded vicinities of more than 15 settlements, including Vilshana, Kupyansk, Kislivka, Pershotravneve, Pishchane, and Cherneshchyna (Kharkiv Region); Stelmakhivka, Nevske, and Chervopopivka (Luhansk Region); as well as Novoselivka, Kolodyazi, Dibrova, Berestov, Yampil, Siversk, Rozdolivka, and Yahidne (Donetsk Region).
Bakhmut area: the occupiers continue attempts to seize the town of Bakhmut. Our defenders repelled attacks near Orikhovo-Vasylivka, Dubovo-Vasylivka, Bakhmut, Ivanivske, and Oleksandro-Shultyne settlements. More than 10 settlements, including Zaliznyanske, Hryhorivka, Bohdanivka, Bakhmut, Kostyantynivka, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Diliyivka, Druzhba, New York, and Pivnichne (Donetsk Region) suffered enemy shelling.
Avdiyivka and Shakhtarsk areas: the enemy carried out unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinities of Kamyanka, Severne, Pervomayske, Nevelske, Novomykhaylivka, Maryinka, and Vuhledar (Donetsk Region). The vicinities of 20 settlements were subject to enemy attacks. Among them are Oleksandropil, Lastochkine, Avdiyivka, Vodyane, Pervomayske, Karlivka, Heorhiyivka, Vuhledar, Zolota Nyva, Velyka Novosilka, Nevelske, Krasnohorivka, Pobeda, Prychistevka, and Neskuchne (Donetsk Region).
Zaporizhzhya and Kherson areas: the enemy stays on the defensive. The vicinities of more than 30 settlements came under enemy fire, including, Vremivka, Novosilka and Novopil (Donetsk Region); Hulyaypole, Zaliznychne, Bilohirya, Mala Tokmachka, Orihiv, Novoandriyivka, Kamyanske, Temyrivka, Olhivske, Chervone, Staroukrainka, Charivne, and Novoandriyivka (Zaporizhzhya Region); as well as Zmiyivka, Vesele, Mykolaivka, Olhivka, Lvove, Ponyativka, Mykilske, Antonivka, Zelenivka, Dniprovske, Kachkarivka, Chervonyy Mayak, Tyahinka, Tokarivka, and Fedorivka (Kherson Region).
According to preliminary information, the armed forces of the Russian Federation have almost used up the entire stock of artillery ammunition kept in storages in the central part of Russia. Nowadays, we observe the movement of ammunition from depots located in other Regions of Russia to the temporarily occupied territories of Ukraine.
There is also an unsatisfactory state and quality of new batches of ammunition due to improper storage and violation of service rules and regulations. Almost 50% of them have visible signs of rust damage. In the conditions of intense hostilities and the existing unsatisfactory state of ammunition, one should expect their shortage in the artillery units of the Russian army within the next 2-3 months.
During the day, Ukrainian Air Force conducted 11 airstrikes on the concentrations of Russian troops and military equipment and struck 1 Russian anti-aircraft missile complex.
