For weeks, the Ukrainian power system has not had a capacity shortage, but there is still a great need for additional supplies of equipment to ensure its stable operation, the press service of the Energy Ministry has said.
"It is important to have a stock of equipment for the future. Repair and rebuilding will take a long time. We have a particularly acute need for high-voltage equipment, in particular transformers, gas distribution generators and other power equipment," said Deputy Energy Minister Yaroslav Demchenkov.
He added that Ukraine's energy system has become a key target of the Russian aggressor. At the same time, it has demonstrated extraordinary resilience thanks to the synchronization with the European ENTSO-E, the heroic work of Ukrainian power engineers and the support of international partners.
