Another Ukrainian abducted in Kherson Region was found in pre-trial detention center No 2 in Russia-occupied Simferopol, the Crimean Human Rights Group has said.

The CHRG reports, citing its own sources, that he is a resident of the village of Velyka Kardashinka, Hola Prystan District, Kherson Region, Hennadiy Lasinskyy, born in 1988.

He is charged with violation of Article 222 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (Illegal acquisition, transfer, sale, storage, transportation, shipment or carrying of large-calibre firearms).

Lasinskyy was transferred from Kherson Region to Simferopol detention centre No 2 in late October 2022.

Earlier, the CHRG reported that at the end of 2022, about 110 people were held in remand centre No 2, who were brought from Kherson and Zaporizhzhya regions. They were tortured and then transferred to Simferopol, to a specially created detention centre No 2, which is fully controlled by the FSB.

In the same detention centre, there are people who are held without criminal cases, which is why lawyers cannot even visit them.
