Patriot systems will arrive in Ukraine in the coming weeks, Voice of America journalist Ostap Yarysh has said, citing a Pentagon official.
"Ukrainian crew will finish training on the Patriot air defense system in the US in the coming days. Then, they will depart to Europe to finish the training with the other UKR air defense crews. First Patriots will be in #Ukraine in the coming weeks — US defense official," he tweeted.
Earlier, National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said that the United States sees an opportunity to speed up the delivery of Abrams tanks to Ukraine and is already working on it.
