Ukrainian Land Forces Commander Oleksandr Syrskyy has said on Telegram that the Russians are weakening and are trying to cover up their failures with "new and new fakes about the capture of Bakhmut".

The commander of the Khortytsya Operational Group of Forces met soldiers and commanders, who, according to him, destroyed the myth of the invincibility of Wagner PMC members and Russian paratroopers."

Syrskyy stressed that "the successful work of the Armed Forces of Ukraine refutes all the efforts of Russian propagandists".

"The forward movement of our entire army depends on what each soldier is doing right now in his or her area of the frontline, in his or her trenches on the frontline," the Land Forces Commander said.

As reported earlier, Russian propagandists have distributed a fake "guideline" for Ukrainian journalists on how to cover the situation in Bakhmut. Also, the owner of the Wagner Group, Yevheny Prigozhin, announced the "capture of the city" and the dedication of the city to the Russian propagandist who was blown up in St. Petersburg yesterday.

Recently, the Ukrainian Armed Forces killed 131 Russian occupiers in the Bakhmut sector and wounded another 139.
