Russia lost about 620 troops, four tanks and many other military vehicles on 18 April. Since the beginning of the large-scale war with Ukraine, its army's losses have reached 183,750, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has said.

Russia's total combat losses from 24.02.22 to 19.04.23 are approximately as follows:

tanks - 3,665 (+4)

armoured combat vehicles - 7,110 (+12)

artillery systems - 2,819 (+9)

MLRS - 538 (+0)

air defence systems - 285 (+0)

aircraft - 308 (+0)

helicopters - 293 (+0)

operational and tactical UAVs - 2,376 (+23)

cruise missiles - 911 (+0)

ships/boats - 18 (+0)

vehicles and tankers - 5,692 (+16)

special equipment - 330 (+0).

Russian troops are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors. Over the past day, Ukrainian defence forces repelled more than 60 enemy attacks in these areas.
