The large-scale armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine is in its 425th day. During the day, Russia launched six missile and 47 air strikes, fired 25 times from multiple launch rocket systems at the positions of Ukrainian troops and critical infrastructure of settlements. The likelihood of further missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine has warned.

Russian troops are focusing their main efforts on conducting offensive operations in the Bakhmut, Avdiyivka and Maryinka sectors, where more than 30 of its attacks were repelled. The fiercest fighting continues for Bakhmut and Maryinka.

Russia continues to use the civilian infrastructure in the temporarily occupied localities for its own purposes. In particular, in Holubivka, Luhansk Region, Russian occupiers are using one of the schools as a medical centre to provide medical aid to their troops.

Over the day, the aviation of the Defence Forces carried out six strikes on the clusters of Russian personnel and military equipment. They also shot down two Russian reconnaissance UAVs of various types. Missile and artillery units destroyed an anti-aircraft missile system and two electronic warfare stations.
