Russian troops stationed in Bryansk and Kursk regions are being issued Ukrainian military uniforms by their command, the National Resistance Centre has warned, quoting tipoffs from locals cooperating with the Ukrainian underground.
Thus, there is a risk of Russian provocations on the northern border.
"All these actions indicate that the Russians are preparing a false flag provocation to mobilise their society and also to mislead the world community in order to divert attention from the crimes of the Russian Armed Forces," the Centre said.
It does not rule out that Russia may resort to terrorist acts on its territory or imitate hostage-taking.
"We urge you to remain vigilant and pay attention to such actions of the enemy in order not to become a victim of malicious intent," it added.
