As a result of Russian shelling of a car in Sumy Region, six people were killed, the Office of the Prosecutor-General has reported.
Under the procedural supervision of the Sumy regional prosecutor's office, a pre-trial investigation was launched into the violation of the laws and customs of war combined with premeditated murder (Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine).
According to the investigation, on 13 June this year, Russian soldiers fired at a UAZ car that was moving through the territory of the Seredyno-Buda territorial community.
As a result of the shelling, six people, including two civilians and four forestry workers, sustained lethal injuries.
