Russian troops shelled Nikopol in Dnipropetrovsk Region several times.
According to the head of the region, Serhiy Lysak, the enemy used heavy artillery.
"As a result of the strikes in the morning and afternoon, 17 private houses and 16 outbuildings in the city were damaged. Three gas pipelines and a power line were damaged. People survived," said Lysak.
He added that in the evening, the Russians shelled the city again.
"An 81-year-old man died during the latest shelling of Nikopol. A 78-year-old woman was wounded. She has a shrapnel wound. Rescuers are working at the site of the attack," Lysak added.
