During the day, Russian troops launched another missile attack on Kyiv Region, using six Kh-47 Kinzhal air-launched missiles and six Kalibr cruise missiles, the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine said in its evening update.
All 12 missiles were destroyed by the air defence forces and means of the Air Force and the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, during the day, Russia conducted 24 air strikes and fired about 35 times from multiple launch rocket systems, causing damage to infrastructure and casualties among civilians. The likelihood of missile and air strikes across Ukraine remains high.
In occupied territories of Ukraine, cases of forced abduction of pro-Ukrainian people and the construction of new torture chambers for their detention have been recorded. In particular, one of these torture chambers was set up by Russians in a secondary school in the village of Velyki Kopani, Kherson Region. Russian FSB units conduct interrogations in the school gym. The occupiers are keeping the detainees in harsh, inhuman conditions and torturing them.
Over the day, Ukrainian aviation carried out 14 strikes on clusters of Russian personnel. Three Russian reconnaissance UAVs of operational and tactical level were destroyed. Over the course of the day, missile and artillery units struck a command post, three clusters of Russian personnel and four artillery units at firing positions, two electronic warfare stations and two other important enemy targets.
