Private cottages were damaged and people hurt as a result of a large-scale Russian missile attack on Kyiv Region on 16 June

As of 4.50 p.m., the regional police reported seven injured people who had turned to doctors.

"Fortunately, they are not seriously injured. We understand that this is not the last appeal from citizens. We urge them to call the relevant services immediately if necessary and not to touch the missile fragments, as they can be dangerous," said Andriy Nyebytov, head of the National Police in Kyiv Region.

As of 3.06 p.m., six people, including a child, were injured.

"Unfortunately, as a result of the fall of debris in one of the settlements of the region, six people were injured, including one child. One of the victims is a truck driver who was injured while transporting bread. All of them are being provided with the necessary medical care," said Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the regional military administration.

Three private houses were destroyed, 13 houses need major repairs, and another 15 houses and two outbuildings sustained minor damage. The falling debris set fire to forest and grass litter. All fires were quickly contained.

The Prosecutor General's Office added that an 82-year-old woman was among the injured.

"Kyiv region. Three people were injured as a result of the occupiers' missile attack: two children and an old lady. More than 30 houses were damaged. Information on the number of victims is being clarified," the Interior Ministry said.

A pre-trial investigation into the violation of the laws and customs of war (Part 1 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine) has been launched.
