This month, Ukrainian pilots will begin training on F-16 fighter jets, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has said at a meeting with the heads of Ukraine's foreign diplomatic missions.
He noted that full attention must be given to countries that have F-16 aircraft and will be able to transfer them to Ukraine after training.
"This is a powerful, challenging task. The delivery and combat use of F-16 by our pilots should take place as soon as possible. And you understand which countries we are talking about," the president stressed.
As reported earlier, the United States is still waiting for European countries to present a final plan for training Ukrainian pilots on F-16s.
