The inspection of military recruitment offices revealed many abuses that are frankly disgusting, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said in his evening video address.
"Law-enforcement officers are investigating all the revealed facts within criminal proceedings. The conclusion is obvious: the recruitment system needs people who understand the value of protecting Ukraine. The value, not the price of settling," he said.
"People who have seen the war, who have gone through it, and those who, unfortunately, have lost their limbs, but have not lost their dignity and have not lost Ukraine, should work in the army," the president added.
