Repairs at a generating unit of one of Ukraine's nuclear power plants were finished ahead of schedule on 5 August, the Energy Ministry has said.
As a result, Ukraine's power generation capacity has increased by 1,000 megawatts.
The Energy Ministry did not name the nuclear power plant in question.
The Energy Ministry added that repairs at other energy facilities continue.
Ukrenergo recently said that its trunk grid has approximately 70-80% of the capacity it had last year.
Ukrainians are also urged to reduce electricity consumption in August.
