The head of the Security Service of Ukraine (SBU), Vasyl Malyuk, commented on the recent attacks on Russian ships by surface drones.

According to him, any explosions at Russian ships or the Kerch (Crimea) Bridge are absolutely logical and effective steps against the enemy.

"Moreover, such special operations are conducted in the territorial waters of Ukraine and are completely legitimate," the SBU press service quoted Malyuk as saying.

If the Russians want the explosions to stop, they must leave Ukraine's land and territorial waters, he said.

"And the sooner they do this, the better it will be for them. Because we will definitely defeat the enemy in this war," Malyuk stressed.

Last night, a sea drone blew up a large Russian oil tanker SIG, which was transporting fuel for Russian troops, near the Kerch Strait. According to information available to LB.ua, the operation was carried out by the SBU and the Navy.

The attack on the Kerch (Crimea) Bridge took place on the night of 17 July, and was a special operation by the SBU and the Ukrainian Navy. The overpass built by the occupiers was attacked by surface drones.
