As of the morning of 14 August, the Russian army has killed 502 children in Ukraine, according to the Office of the Prosecutor-General.
In total, more than 1,599 children have suffered from Russian aggression. This figure is not final.
"As of the morning of 14 August 2023, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 502 children were killed and more than 1,097 sustained injuries of varying severity," the prosecutors said.
Most children were affected in Donetsk Region - 485, Kharkiv Region - 298, Kyiv Region - 129, Kherson Region - 120, Zaporizhzhya Region - 99, Mykolayiv Region - 97, Dnipropetrivsk Region - 94, Chernihiv Region - 71, and Luhansk Region - 67.
