This morning the sounds of explosions were heard in Kherson. According to the head of the Kherson city military administration, Roman Mrochko, a six-year-old child was wounded in the shelling. Later, the Interior Ministry said that a Russian shell hit a multi-storey building, injuring a 3-year-old girl and her grandmother.

"A 6-year-old child was wounded in Kherson as a result of hostile shelling. She is receiving medical assistance. Information about the rest of the victims is being checked," Mrochko said.

As of 12:00, two women were taken to Kherson hospitals, one in serious condition. They were injured as a result of the recent shelling of the city.

According to the Interior Ministry, five people were injured in the artillery shelling of Kherson: a 3-year-old girl with her 55-year-old grandmother, a 59-year-old man, and two women aged 47 and 69. All of them sustained shrapnel wounds. Doctors are providing the necessary assistance.

"A child and her grandmother were walking in the yard. The enemy artillery hit them near the entrance. Once again, Russia is hitting residential infrastructure and civilians," the Interior Ministry added.

Also, a woman was killed in the night shelling of Kherson Region. In addition, two wounded men died in hospital overnight.
