On the night of 25 November, Russia attacked Ukraine with a record number of Shahed UAVs, aiming primarily at the capital. Air defence forces destroyed 71 out of 75 Russian drones. In addition, a Kh-59 guided missile was destroyed in Dnipropetrovsk Region.

As of 11 a.m., according to the Air Force, 74 out of 75 Russian drones were destroyed.

"On the night of 25 November 2023, the enemy launched a record number of Shahed attack UAVs at Ukraine. In total, about 75 Shaheds were launched from two directions - Primorsko-Akhtarsk (Russia) and Kursk Region (Russia). The main direction of the attack was the city of Kyiv," Ukraine's Air Force said.

Air defences were activated in at least six regions of Ukraine: Kyiv, Sumy, Dnipro, Zaporizhzhya, Mykolayiv, and Kirovohrad regions.
