Next week, Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyy and Defence Minister Rustem Umerov are to present a new mobilisation plan, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a joint press conference with Latvian President Edgars Rinkēvičs, RBC-Ukraine reports.

According to the head of state, he heard reports on mobilisation challenges and possible ways to resolve them at today's meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff.

Zelenskyy noted that some issues had already been resolved.

"I would like people to understand the whole action plan, where we are going, what the challenges are. We will have a comprehensive plan on this issue next week. I really believe that it will be next week," the president said.

He added that in addition to Zaluzhnyy and Umerov, other Cabinet ministers had been given the relevant task, as much depends on economic issues.

As reported earlier today, the Staff meeting discussed mobilisation and demobilisation, as well as rotation and military enlistment offices.

Meanwhile, parliament is preparing a draft law to regulate the issue of mobilisation, leave and demobilisation of the military.
