The Secretary-General of the Council of Europe, Marija Pejčinović-Burić, has condemned another massive attack by Russia on Ukraine that occurred on the morning of 2 January. She posted this on her X.
"Russia's continuous attacks against Ukraine are unacceptable. Deliberate shelling of civilians or civilian objects constitutes war crimes and serious violations of the international law of the Council of Europe," stated Pejčinović-Burić.
