On 9 January, the monobank mobile application experienced a malfunction. Oleh Gorokhovskyy, co-founder of the bank, commented on them on Telegram: "We broke down a bit. We are fixing it. Sorry." At around 9:35 a.m., he announced that the service had resumed.
Before that, the bank's press service confirmed to hromadske that there were difficulties. According to hromadske, the Jar savings service was down, while card-to-card transfers were working.
"We are very sorry that there were difficulties with our product. We are currently experiencing difficulties on our side," the commentary reads.
