The Air Force has not yet confirmed the downing of the jet-powered Shahed attack drone. No such drone has been found. Air Force spokesman Yuriy Ihnat said this during a telethon.
"How can we confirm this if we have not found it? Those who have found it should confirm it, show it, tell us," he said.
Earlier, Iran showed a black Shahed with a jet engine, after which the regular Shaheds were repainted black.
"If you look at the threat of this [jet engine], it just turns out to be a mini-cruise missile. The reserve of warheads cannot be large in such a Shahed because the jet engine itself must consume a lot of fuel. The payload of this Shahed will be significantly reduced. The warhead will be small, and the speed will, of course, be increased," the Air Force spokesman explained.
