Russians fired an Kh-59 guided missile at Odesa from a tactical aircraft manoeuvring over the Black Sea, the spokesman for the head of the Odesa regional military administration, Serhiy Bratchuk, said on Telegram.

He noted that the air defence forces shot down the missile on its approach from the sea to the city.

The fragments of the downed missile damaged an unfinished building and the glazing of several multi-storey buildings in the coastal zone.

"Explosive experts are working at the site of the fallen debris to ensure the safety of local residents. No casualties were reported," added Bratchuk.
