Today, on 16 April, Ukrainian writer and public figure Dmytro Kapranov died at the age of 56.
This was reported on the Kapranov brothers' Facebook page.
"Friends, we are in trouble. Dmytro died suddenly this morning. I will write tomorrow about the time and place of the funeral. Everything else is cancelled, sorry," the post reads.
The Kapranov brothers - Dmytro and Vitaliy - are Ukrainian writers, publishers, publicists, public figures, and bloggers. Their work covers various genres, including fiction and history.
Among other things, they are the authors of the following books:
"Kobzar 2000". This book, which the brothers worked on for 10 years, is their significant contribution to contemporary Ukrainian literature.
"Paper Soldiers: The History of Ukraine in Stories and Analysis.
"A painted history of Ukraine's independence": This book reveals key events in the history of our country.
"Maidan": Reflection of the events during the Revolution of Dignity.
The Kapranov brothers are the authors of the Taras Shevchenko YouTube channel dedicated to the history of Ukraine.
