In an interview with PBS, President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said that Russians were able to destroy the Trypillya TPP because Ukraine had zero missiles left to defend the plant.
The Head of State commented on the assistance of Western countries to Israel in repelling Iran's attack, noting that this case showed "what allies are not on paper, but in the sky"
Zelenskyy also noted that during the repulsion of this attack by Iran, many things were used that Ukraine lacks.
"I will give you a very simple example. There were 11 missiles fired at the Trypillya thermal power plant, which provides electricity to the Kyiv Region. We destroyed the first 7, 4 others destroyed Trypillya. Why? Because there were 0 missiles. We ran out of missiles to defend Trypillya. When they say that the allies cannot give Ukraine this or that weapon or cannot be in Ukraine with certain forces, because then it will be perceived that Ukraine has 'dragged' NATO into the war, I want to ask you a question - is Israel in NATO or not?" the president said.
