On the night of 8 May, the Russian army attacked the Kyiv Region with drones and cruise missiles. There were no hits, but there was damage in four districts due to falling debris.
Two victims - a woman and a man with multiple limb injuries and shrapnel wounds - were taken to hospital. This was reported by Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the RMA.
According to the mayor of Brovary, Ihor Sapozhko, the wounded are residents of his city.
"Two people were injured as a result of the missile attack and the fire of a civilian infrastructure facility - a woman born in 1962 and a man born in 1990. They were hospitalised in a stressful condition and with damaged limbs in Brovary hospital," he said.
In general, there is damage to power lines in the Region. One of the villages has a partial power outage.
"According to preliminary information, as a result of the falling debris, one private house and a utility room nearby were destroyed, 14 other private houses and one car were damaged," Kravchenko said.
