On the night of 20 June, the Russian military attacked DTEK's thermal power plant for the seventh time in the last three months.
DTEK said in a statement that three people were injured.
"Another difficult night for the Ukrainian energy sector. Russians shelled one of DTEK's thermal power plants. Three of our colleagues were wounded. Doctors are providing all possible assistance," the company said.
The plant's equipment was also seriously damaged. Power engineers are currently working to eliminate the consequences of the attack.
"This is the seventh massive attack on the company's thermal power plants in the last three months," DTEK added.
Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, DTEK Energy's thermal power plants have been shelled more than 180 times. During this period, 53 employees were injured and three power engineers were killed in the shelling.
