If peace depended on Ukraine, this war would not have happened. Putin started it, and he is not going to end it, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy said at a press conference with the President of Slovenia.
The diplomatic path chosen by Ukraine is its initiative, as it is a victim in this war. Since the Global Peace Summit, Ukraine has been working on three detailed plans.
"Energy, food security and exchanges. I am sure we will solve these issues. At least, we will prepare a detailed plan. This will happen in the near future," he said.
Plans for other points of the peace formula will be ready and presented to the partners. The overall plan will be ready this year.
"It is very important to show a plan to end the war that will be supported by the majority of the world. This is the diplomatic way we are working on," Zelenskyy said.
However, Russia understands only force, so Ukraine is strengthening its armaments in parallel with diplomacy.
