Since the beginning of Russia's armed aggression in Ukraine, 551 children have been killed and more than 1,411 injured.

This was reported by the Office of the Prosecutor General.

"More than 1,962 children have been injured in Ukraine as a result of Russia's full-scale armed aggression. As of the morning of 29 June 2024, according to official information from juvenile prosecutors, 551 children were killed and more than 1,411 were injured of varying severity," the statement said.

Children were most affected in the following regions: Donetsk - 550, Kharkiv - 399, Kherson - 154, Dnipro - 152, Kyiv - 130.

In recent days, Ukrainian settlements have been shelled by the troops of the aggressor state:

  • On 26 June in Derhachi, Kharkiv Region, a 17-year-old girl and two boys aged 12 and 15 were injured.
  • On 26 June, two girls aged 12 and 15 were injured in Antonovka, Kherson Region.
  • on 27 June in Selydove
  • , Donetsk Region, a 17-year-old boy and an 11-year-old girl were injured.
  • on 28 June an 8-year-old girl is wounded in the village of New York, Donetsk Region.
  • on 28 June a seven-month-old baby was wounded in Dnipro.
