Due to the Russian attack, Zaporizhzhya NPP is on the verge of blackout. This was reported by the Ministry of Energy.

As a result of the Russian attack on the main substation, one of the power lines of the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP was cut off. The plant is again on the verge of blackout.

"Another act of Russian terrorism has created a threat of an accident at the occupied Zaporizhzhya NPP. We demand immediate implementation of the IAEA resolution and return of the occupied NPP under Ukrainian control. Safe operation of Zaporizhzhya NPP is possible only under the control of Ukraine," said Energy Minister Herman Halushchenko.

Power engineers are working to eliminate the consequences of the Russian shelling to restore full power to the occupied NPP as soon as possible.
