President Volodymyr Zelenskyy held a meeting of the Supreme Commander-in-Chief's Staff on the situation at the front, in particular the Pokrovsk sector, as well as the defence of the Armed Forces in Kursk Region, Zelenskyy has reported via Telegram.

President noted that he had heard a report from Commander-in-Chief Oleksandr Syrskyy on the operational situation.

"There are active operations along the entire frontline, but the fighting is particularly fierce in the Pokrovske and Kurakhove directions. Russians have been trying to break through our defences in the Kursk Region for five days. The guys are holding on and counterattacking," the President said.

During the meeting, the Head of State also conducted an analytical analysis with representatives of the Defence Intelligence of Ukraine and the Foreign Intelligence Service of Ukraine on who exactly is helping Russia "to wage its war of aggression against Ukraine - militarily, economically, politically, openly and covertly - and what steps we, our partners, need to take to weaken these criminal alliances".

The President heard a report of the Ministry of Defence on contracting for the current and next periods, including the use of partner assistance, on investments of our key partners in the Ukrainian defence industry.
