Russians shell Mykolayiv with missiles: kill one person, wound 23

The explosions in the city occurred before the air raid alert was announced. 

One person was killed and 23 wounded as a result of Russian shelling of Mykolayiv on 15 October. The updated data was reported by the head of the RMA Vitaliy Kim.

An infrastructure facility, private houses and cars were damaged in one of the city's residential areas. This was reported by the State Emergency Service of Ukraine.

"Fires broke out and have already been extinguished on areas of 30 and 400 square metres. In addition, a restaurant complex and trade pavilions were on fire in another area. The fire was contained on an area of 1,400 square metres. The fire is being extinguished," the rescuers said.

At 10:38 a.m., the rescuers reported that the fire was extinguished.

At first, the mayor of Mykolayiv, Oleksandr Senkevych, posted on his Telegram page about explosions in the regional centre that were heard before the air raid alert was issued.

Later, the Air Force warned of high-speed targets towards Mykolayiv Region. According to the monitoring channels, the city was attacked by ballistic missiles, preliminarily S-300.
