At approximately 07:00 this morning, Russian forces carried out a combined missile attack on Kyiv. The assault involved Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles launched from MiG-31K aircraft and Iskander/KN-23 ballistic missiles, with a total of eight missiles fired.
This information was reported by the Kyiv City Military Administration (KCMA).
Debris from the attack caused damage in multiple districts:
- Holosiyivskyy district: An office building, road surface, and a gas pipeline were damaged, leading to depressurisation. Five cars caught fire. At another location, the facade of an office building was damaged, the roof caught fire, and the fifteenth floor was destroyed. People may be trapped inside. Two injuries have been reported, and both victims have been hospitalised.
- Solomyanskyy district: Falling debris ignited a fire in a non-residential building. The fire was extinguished, and no injuries were reported.
- Shevchenkivskyy district: A non-residential building caught fire due to falling debris. Further details are being clarified.
- Dniprovskyy district: Initial reports of falling debris were not confirmed following inspections.
Kyiv Mayor Vitaliy Klitschko confirmed that nine people were injured, four of whom were hospitalised. Tragically, the body of one person was also found.
