
On the evening of 19 December, Russian forces launched a missile attack on Kryvyy Rih. This was stated by Oleksandr Vilkul, head of the Kryvyy Rih Defence Council.
“Everyone is in place. We are all working. We are back in a residential building. Bastards,” Vilkul later added.
The State Emergency Service reported that rescue and search operations were completed overnight.
- Six people were injured in the attack, including a 15-year-old girl. She, along with two men, was hospitalised in moderate condition.
- A two-storey residential building was partially destroyed, while 3 apartment blocks and 17 private houses sustained damage.
- Windows in a social institution and an inpatient hospital ward were shattered. Patients were transferred to other medical facilities.
- Over 20 vehicles were also damaged.
The day before, late on 18 December, Russians launched another missile strike on the city. The central water supply system and energy infrastructure were damaged. High-rise buildings and a hospital were also affected, though no casualties were reported.
