On 3 January, Russia launched a missile attack on Chernihiv.
According to the head of the Chernihiv City Military Administration, Dmytro Bryzhynskyy, the outskirts of the regional centre came under fire.
Before that, the Ukrainian Air Force had warned several times about the missile threat to Chernihiv and the region.
Later, the head of the CMA said that two private houses had been preliminarily destroyed and four people were reported injured.
Update. The head of the Chernihiv Regional Military Administration, Vyacheslav Chaus, said that a person was killed in a triple missile strike on a residential area on the outskirts of Chernihiv. There are also wounded. Search and rescue operations are ongoing.
