The Main Inspectorate of the Ministry of Defence will conduct a comprehensive analysis of the Land Forces Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
This was announced by Defence Minister Rustem Umerov.
According to him, the Land Forces are the largest and most strategically important branch of the Armed Forces, responsible for mobilising, training, manning and effectiveness of combat units.
‘Events in the Land Forces directly affect the situation at the frontline. That is why I support the need for the new commander of the Armed Forces, Major General Mykhaylo Drapatyy, to have a complete picture of the situation,’ the minister added.
According to Umerov, the inspection will analyse the organisational structure and powers, assess the effectiveness of management processes, and check for compliance with the law.
‘Based on the results of the inspection, we will introduce reforms in the management system and HR policy in the CSR, optimise management processes, and enhance the combat capability of our units with new approaches to training,’ the Defence Minister said.
