On 5 January, Russia attacked Ukraine with 103 Shahed attack UAVs and various types of imitation drones from the directions of Bryansk, Millerovo, Orel (Russia).
This was reported by the Air Force of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
"As of 09.00, 61 Shahed attack UAVs and other types of drones have been confirmed downed in Poltava, Sumy, Kharkiv, Kyiv, Chernihiv, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk, Zhytomyr and Khmelnytskyy Regions. No hits were recorded," the Air Force said.
In addition, 42 Russian decoy drones were lost in the area.
