The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine has launched a new section on the War&Sanctions portal with information about Russian manufacturers of weapons and military equipment.

According to the DIU, the first published category is the manufacturers of the aggressor state's UAVs. The list contains data on 79 Russian companies involved in cooperation in the production and supply of UAVs for the war against Ukraine. The section contains identification data of the enterprises, a description of their activities, a list of related companies and a nomenclature of UAVs.

The list includes

  • enterprises that produce Russian versions of Iranian UAVs Shahed-136 - Geranium and IAI Harpy: JSC Special Economic Zone of Industrial Production Type ALABUGA, LLC Albatros, JSC Izhevsk Electromechanical Plant Kupol and others involved in the production of these UAVs and components for them;
  • Zala Aero group of companies, which is part of the Kalashnikov concern and produces barrage Lancets and reconnaissance Zala;
  • producers of Russian multi-purpose UAVs Orion and Altair - KRONSTADT JSC and Ural Civil Aviation Plant JSC;
  • manufacturers of FPV drones, which supply their products directly to units of the Russian Armed Forces in Ukraine, organise fundraisers for them, pilot schools in the temporarily occupied territories, and modify their products to meet the needs of the Russian military.

 You can browse and navigate both by company and by UAV model.

For individual companies, links are available to a list of foreign equipment used by them and the component base identified in the UAV.

‘The Defence Intelligence of Ukraine calls for synchronising and strengthening the efforts of the civilised world against Russian ‘manufacturers of death’ - to impose sanctions, restrict supplies, strengthen control and responsibility,’ the intelligence said.

The section will be updated and expanded with other categories. The intelligence service promised that missile manufacturers are next in line.

  • At the end of last year, the intelligence service and the CCD published the first 55 names in the new project ‘The Kremlin's Mouthpieces’
