President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy has approved the composition of the negotiating team that will take part in the peace talks. This is stated in decree No. 14/2025-rp, published on the presidential website.
"To form a delegation of Ukraine to interact with Ukraine's international partners to ensure the negotiation process to achieve a just peace," the document says.
It also states that the group includes:

- Andriy Sybiha – Minister of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, member of the delegation
- Umerov Rustem – Minister of Defence of Ukraine, member of the delegation
- Pavlo Palisa – Deputy Head of the Office of the President of Ukraine, member of the delegation.
By the order of the President, the head of the delegation has the right to
- To make changes to the composition of the delegation of Ukraine in agreement with the Minister for Foreign Affairs of Ukraine;
- to engage, in accordance with the established procedure, employees of state bodies, enterprises, institutions, organisations, in agreement with their heads, scientific advisers and experts to ensure the work of the Ukrainian delegation.
Zelenskyy signed the decree on 15 March 2025.
- This is the composition of the delegation that represented Ukraine on 11 March in Jeddah at a meeting with US representatives.
- As a result of the negotiations in Jeddah, which lasted about seven hours, Ukraine agreed to the US proposal to immediately introduce a temporary, 30-day ceasefire, provided that Russia accepts and simultaneously implements it. The ceasefire can be extended by mutual agreement. The United States, in turn, immediately cancels the pause in intelligence sharing and resumes security assistance to Ukraine.
