Despite proposed ceasefire: Russia attacks with missiles and drones

Russians used missiles of various types. 

On the night of 6 May, Russia attacked with two Iskander-M ballistic missiles from Russia’s Rostov Region, one Kh-31 guided air-launched missile from the airspace over Russia’s Kursk Region, as well as 108 attack UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types and Parodiya decoy drones launched from the Russian directions of Bryansk, Kursk, Millerovo, and from occupied Crimea and Donetsk. 

Impacts of two ballistic missiles, one guided air-launched missile, and nine attack UAVs were recorded at eight locations, with falling debris reported at one. This was reported by the Air Force.

“According to preliminary data, as of 08:00, air defense shot down/suppressed 89 enemy UAVs of the Shahed, Gerbera, and Italmas types, as well as Parodiya decoy drones, in the north and east of the country,” the statement said. 

The attack is ongoing, with several Russian UAVs in the airspace.

Ukraine proposed a ceasefire to Russia starting at midnight on 6 May, with the option to extend it further. It will act in a mirror manner.
